Burton Richard, MBA, is the founder and broker of Kinetic Brokerage, a Lafayette-based commercial brokerage established on a straightforward philosophy: clients deserve a partner who is as invested in their outcomes as they are. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Burton earned both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he built the analytical foundation he now applies to every real estate service deal. 

Before diving into commercial real estate, Burton spent nearly a decade in medical device sales—a career that required precision, trust, and the ability to grasp complex, high-stakes client needs. That discipline seamlessly transitioned into his practice in real estate. Whether assisting a physician group with a medical office acquisition, structuring a net lease sale, or advising an owner on a multifamily disposition, Burton infuses the same patience, attentiveness, and relentless advocacy that characterized his years serving clients in medical devices. 

Burton's approach to real estate services is simple: take the time to truly understand what each client needs, then work with determination until the deal reflects those needs. He avoids rushing negotiations just to secure a closure—he strives for an outcome that genuinely serves his clients, even if that requires navigating a longer process. His combination of patience and persistence has become synonymous with his name in the Lafayette/Acadiana market, encompassing office, industrial, medical, multifamily, and land transactions. 

In launching Kinetic Brokerage, Burton aimed to create the type of brokerage he always wanted to work for—one built on transparency, cutting-edge technology, and a sincere client-first standard. He leads Kinetic's team with the core values that have shaped his career: come prepared, communicate honestly, and never relent until the deal is right. 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Burton is a dedicated father and a strong advocate for the long-term growth of Acadiana.
